Directed by Antoine Fuqua, known for his work on Training Day and The Equalizer, and written by three-time Oscar nominee John Logan, the film promises to be a true celebration of Jackson’s life and legacy. Branca, who is also an executive producer on the project, said that Jackson’s family and estate are fully supportive of the casting choice and believe that Jaafar has the talent and charisma to bring his uncle’s story to life.
