Michael Jackson has topped a poll of artists whose fans will purchase all the new albums they release.

PopScores, a monthly quantitative measurement of the emotional connection between artists and consumers, shows that 82 per cent of Jackson’s fans are ready to buy the new material he releases.

Michael has emerged as a joint winner with English rock band ‘Muse’, followed by Damon Albarn’s Gorillaz.

Researchers asked fans who were their loved artists, and whether they would purchase each of their new albums.
