According to the UK tabloid “The Mirror” the Jackson 5 are set to receive a lifetime achievement award at the Mobos.A source has told the newspaper “the brothers will receive the award at the ceremony on September 19 at the O2 Arena in East London. Organisers had asked the band to perform at the event but the Jacksons didn’t feel they were ready.”
A band spokesman said it could still happen. However, Michael Jackson’s management are yet to confirm the invite.
