Another music legend who wasn’t in attendance was controversial superstar MICHAEL JACKSON – but he was there in spirit, because of a possible collaboration with Ne-Yo.
R & B star Ne-Yo confirmed that he was writing for Michael, but wouldn’t comment on what, telling us “he won’t let me say.” But he was excited about the chance to write for him: “It’s a dream working with him, he’s someone who I looked up to, he’s a musical god to me.”
Singer songwriter CRAIG DAVID said that he’d look forward to a collaboration between the two: “Michael Jackson was the King of pop and still is – he transcends all those genres. “He just needs 11 or 12 great songs. Ne-Yo would be a great person for him to work with.”
