KASABIAN frontman paid £4,000 for the MICHAEL JACKSON puppet from hit Eighties’ show SPITTING IMAGE. A source said: “Tom has had his eye on Spitting Image memorabilia for a while. He was scouring the internet to see what he could get his hands on. The Jackson puppet came up on eBay and he made his move.
The Kasabian tour manager did all the negotiating for Tom so he wouldn’t get too carried away with the bidding. Apparently, Tom was given a countdown over the phone as the time for making final bids ticked away.”
