A memorial to Michael Jackson is to be unveiled in the heart of London’s theatreland.

The plaque is to be installed in the foyer of London’s Lyric Theatre on Thursday June 24, the eve of the first anniversary of the King of Pop’s death.
The West End theatre is currently home to Thriller Live, a show which features a number of Jackson’s solo hits and songs he recorded with the Jackson 5. The Lyric became a shrine to the star after his sudden death in Los Angeles.
Britain’s Got Talent 2009 winners Diversity, who were booked to appear at Jackson’s London concerts, and the cast of Thriller Live will attend the event.
