Michael Jackson life cast and three “Werecat” make-up facial appliances worn in “Michael Jackson’s Thriller.”
A collection of three facial appliances from the “Werecat” transformation scene worn during the filming of “Michael Jackson’s Thriller” plus a Michael Jackson lifecast are up for auction.
In “The Making of Thriller,” you can see Rick Baker, Tim Lawrence (who played one of the featured zombies) and Mark Wilson creating this lifecast of Michael. Tim is the one monitoring a stopwatch with one hand while applying alginate with the other. Three of these foam pieces were applied directly to Michael Jackson’s face and represent one of each of the three stages of transformation plus an unused foam latex cast of the final, third stage makeup with the flashings still attached, as it came out of the mold.
