If you haven’t heard by now, Michael Jackson’s family will be holding a tribute concert for Michael @ the Cardiff Millennium Stadium in October.
The reaction from fans so far has been mixed, with some confusion over how exactly to purchase one of the 75,000 tickets and some journalists suggesting Michael is being exploited.
Notorious journalist (and Michael Jackson observer) Roger Friedman goes further and says:
“Yesterday, some members of Michael Jackson‘s extended family made an announcement. Goodluck.” He continues “Michael’s brothers, Jermaine and Randy, were obviously not happy with the deal. There’s no word on the concert from Janet Jackson, who’s on tour and is no doubt disgusted by this whole enterprise. And what is Global Live, the company behind this project? On their website, Eric Bute, a commercial director with few credits, is listed as the American COO. He directed a music video for LaToya in 2009.”
