MTV REVIEW: Michael Jackson The Experience is a competent, if not spectacular rhythm game with a license that should be an automatic draw for fans of the genre, and as far as it goes, it’s as faithful as I suspect it can be to its subject. Still, those rough spots—where the game can’t quite replicate the magic of some of MJ’s hits, where the face or the look is somehow just this much off—will take longtime fans out of the experience again and again.
