Number Ones Surpasses 5 Million Sales

Billboard are reporting that Michael Jackson, “Number Ones” – No. 141 – The greatest hits package surpassed 5 million in total U.S. sales this week, marking the King of Pop’s third album to sell that many copies since SoundScan started tracking sales in 1991. It joins “Thriller” (6.3 million) and “Dangerous” (5.8 million) in Jackson’s 5 million-seller club (again, in the SoundScan era).
