Selling over 113k copies and entering at No.4, \u2018Michael\u2019 continues the musical legacy of Jackson that started over 40 years ago. The album is Jackson\u2019s 19th to reach the UK Top 10, while the lead single \u2018Hold My Hand (Duet With Akon)\u2019 extends Jackson\u2019s incredible run of success to 55 UK Top 10 hits; his first being \u2018I Want You Back\u2019 in 1970, 4 decades ago.<\/p>\n<p>Critics and fans have hailed the new album as \u201cBrilliant\u201d with \u201cStunning collaborations\u201d and \u201cCertainly worthy of the legacy of the King Of Pop;\u201d proclaiming that it \u201cBursts with verve and confidence with lots of inspirational, uplifting anthems and melodic, sweetly sung ballads.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>HMV\u2019s Gennaro Castaldo adds to the phenomenon:<br \/>\n&#8220;What was particularly evident this week was the large number of younger customers buying Michael&#8217;s album in our stores.
