Either way, organizers continue to push forward with October 8th and are readying more announcements to support this forthcoming event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UPDATE (1st September):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The promoters of a Michael Jackson tribute concert tried to dispel the concerns of fan clubs Monday during a series of international conference calls on Wednesday, but leaders of some large groups said afterwards they were still opposed to the event <em>\u201cIn all honesty, they haven\u2019t answered any of my questions, Where is the money going? Who is benefiting?
