The former right-hand man of Michael Jackson\u2019s late manager aims to spill a few industry secrets.<\/p>\n
Mark Lamica , who spent nine years working with Frank Dileo, tells us he\u2019s planning a musical tour that will be loosely based on dealings between the King of Pop and the legendary cigar-chomping music man Dileo, who died in August 2011.<\/p>\n
Lamica tells us the \u201cdramical,\u201d which he calls \u201cThe Man,\u201d will follow the blueprint of the Oscar-winning movie \u201cDreamgirls\u201d by showing the \u201cins and outs and ups and downs\u201d of the music business, with \u201csome of the dirt\u201d sprinkled in for added drama.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the making of a superstar client through the eyes of a manager,\u201d Lamica says.<\/p>\n
The Jackson and Dileo characters will bear some resemblance to the actual men, but the musical\u2019s story will purposely be \u201cvague,\u201d Lamica explains, so producers won\u2019t have to deal with Jackson\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n
