Sony Music has released a brand new “official” music video for Human Nature, one of Michael Jackson’s most beloved tracks — but the reaction from fans has been mixed.
Rather than unveiling previously unseen footage or restoring classic material, the newly released video is a modern homage, featuring various dancers performing to the song. While visually polished, it stops short of offering anything truly new from Michael himself.
For many fans, the term “official” raises questions. The only visual piece long associated with Human Nature is the animated sequence featured in Moonwalker. Although widely regarded by fans as the closest thing to an official video, it was never formally released as one.
This makes the new release feel more like a reinterpretation than a definitive version.
