TRIBUTE BY JERMAINE: Jermaine Spotted @ Wembley Arena

The plans look closer to reality this week with reports the former Jackson Five singer has booked Wembley Stadium on June 8 for the mega shebang.

A spokesman for the venue would say only that she was ‘unable to confirm’ the booking. However, pieces of the puzzle are coming together after Jermaine was spotted by members of the public taking in a tour of the stadium on Monday. Now all he has to do is convince the stars who pulled out of his last planned gig to recommit.

This time Prince, Justin Timberlake, Carlos Santana, Shakira and Whitney Houston are being touted to sing for the late star. The 55-year-old also wants to stamp his legacy on the planned show-stopper by reportedly calling it Tribute By Jermaine.

This week he said the show would be the perfect way to honour his brother, who died in Los Angeles at his rented mansion on June 25 last year, aged 50. ‘The best way and most suitable way is to assemble the world’s largest tribute in history that is only fitting to a man who moved the hearts and souls of an unimaginable amount,’ he said.

And, of course, Jermaine is making sure he doesn’t miss a commercial trick with talk the show will be filmed for a DVD release.
