According the British Sunday Newspaper “The Sunday People”, Michael Jackson was invited to open the Grammy’s by performing material from Thriller, celebrating its 25th anniversary. According to one source he said he’d only turn up if he received a special award on stage.
A source said: “Michael is loved by millions but this request was one too many. He’s won enough in the past so they decided to go ahead without him.” Only time will tell….at this point despite the Grammy’s executive producer denying a Jackson appearance, no-one knows if the King Of Pop will perform or in fact appear.
