Japanese fans of Michael Jackson rushed to the Tokyo opening of a memorabilia exhibition from the late king of pop, which included his much-loved 1967 Rolls-Royce and crystal-studded gloves.
A handful of hardcore fans were so overawed by the experience they fainted while viewing the Lifetime Collection of about 300 items displayed at the foot of Tokyo Tower.
“By seeing his memorabilia, I was refreshing my memories of Michael,” Kimiko Sato, 49, told Sky News. “I felt as if he was still alive here.”
The collection included other items such a gate sign from his Neverland ranch, an antique piano, costumes and masks, and trophies and gold discs commemorating million-selling records such as Got To Be There, Maybe Tomorrow, Rockin’ Robin and I Want You Back.
