Michael Jackson has officially surpassed an incredible 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify, reaching a staggering 100,876,089 listeners on the platform.
Chartmetric, with the release of the Michael biopic has sparked a massive resurgence in streaming activity across Michael Jackson’s catalogue.
In the four weeks following the film’s release, Michael gained approximately 40 million monthly listeners, rising from around 62 million listeners to more than 102 million at his peak. The numbers represent a remarkable 121% increase year-over-year, compared to 46.1 million listeners in April 2025.
Michael’s Spotify following has also seen explosive growth. Since January 2024, his follower count has increased from 29.6 million to 43.5 million followers, adding nearly 14 million new followers in less than eighteen months.
