Paris Jackson has won her latest legal battle involving the estate of Michael Jackson, according to a new report from Deadline.

The dispute centred around more than $625,000 in bonus payments issued during the second half of 2018 by the Michael Jackson estate, which is overseen by executors John Branca and John McClain.

In a newly revealed order dated April 29, retired probate judge and current referee Mitchell Beckloff sided with Paris Jackson, ruling that the bonus payments should not have been approved and must be returned to the estate.

According to the ruling:

“Ms. Jackson’s objection to the $625,000 of bonus payments made in the second six months of 2018 is sustained. The bonus payments are not approved; they are disallowed. The payments shall be returned to the estate.”

Beckloff also ruled that future bonus payments to attorneys cannot be made without either the written consent of all beneficiaries or direct approval from the referee or court.

The decision marks another significant development in the ongoing legal and financial oversight surrounding the multi-billion-dollar Michael Jackson estate.
